Parenting Time/Visitation

It is the policy of the State of Oregon to assure minor children of frequent and continuing contact with parents who have shown the ability to act in the best interests of the child. A standard parenting time/visitation schedule provides for alternating weekends and specifies time during the summer and holidays. A parent must prove their parenting schedule is in the “best interests” of the child or children.  The court will usually approve a parenting plan/visitation schedule which has been agreed upon by the spouses.  A parenting plan should be detailed to avoid future conflict.  If you have a parenting time/visitation matter, contact the law office of James J. Pedrojetti P.C.
